Corrected Cargo building on ENRY
This one is more up to speed with the real thing, my old one was one story to high and it was green. It´s an Airforce cargo building, so they painted it bright yellow. Of course.

Land Rover 109
I have just made this Land Rover to be used in my ENRY-scenery, and since its now allready made, why not share it? So here you go - a simple Landrover.

ENRY - South - Air Force Base
Now - this area will be a lot of work. The Royal Norwegian Air Force base on ENRY, located opposite of the runway to the civilian airport. The civilian airport is brand new and was an expansion of the Air Force Base, Rygge Air Station, in 2007.
The yellow line indicates the air station area. I have placed some orthophotos to help me place the different buildings in the right places.

Have a look at this video. This shows the project at its present state.

New Hangars on ENRY
I´m starting to get the hang of this 3D thing. Still - with sparse information of the real buildings, it all boils down to an educated guess. But it looks better than with mock-ups. High res images for the texture. This is the three hangars on the north side of ENRY.

Polygons
I have used polygons for the terminal area on ENRY-Rygge. And the nice thing is the night lighting on the ground. The .pol file code used is as follows:

DRAPED_POLYGON

TEXTURE_LIT_NOWRAP ENRY_Apron_LIT.png
SCALE 250 250

Tools of the trade
What do you need to edit airports or scenery? All kinds of stuff it seems. But the main tools are: OverlayEditor, WorldEditor, ac3d (3D software) and an image editing software, I use Photoshop.
It is all a combination of software and scripting. And it is a lot of work for a novice to find the right way. I strugled for weeks before I was able to just have a clear picture of how everything worked together. The main problem is that all the information is scattered around in different places. Once you have gathered the information you are set to go.
I will post some simple tutorials on how to do a few things I had problems with understanding. But if you have questions, write it here and I will try to answer you.
Important: All use of images in X-plane have to be in the power of two 1024 x 1024 pixels or 2048 x 2048 pixels to work. Sadly 2048 is the upper limit for X-Plane. So what do you use images for? Well, all 3D work needs texture, and if you are making polygons for the ground you need images.
And the most important link for developers is THIS.

ENRY-Moss Lufthavn Rygge
A quick glance at this airport so far. I will upload some images also, but in the meantime you can take a look at this video.
